Ask for more support to dev macros and addons. It's AI era, users have more say now.

Hey MindManager Team,

I made a basic macro to export .mmap files to Markdown (.md) for Obsidian. It’s simple—indented text from the map’s structure.

"1 click save the .mmap as a .md in the same folder, always overwrite so no popup"

Why It’s Useful:

- Markdown works with Obsidian, Notion, etc.

- Links MindManager to note-taking tools.

- Could spark bigger automation.

Please Do:

- Better API docs.

- Addons for popular apps.

- A hub for user scripts.

Script available if you want it. Thoughts? MindManager—any macro plans?

refer back to this old post by ME,

it's done, AI make it happened.

that's why I paid 20USD for chatgpt plus, 30USD for grok3, and may be 20USD for cursor.

and deepseek in the free tire.

cursor provides claude 3.5 sonnet, 3.7 sonnet +/- thinking.

ps

grok3 and may be others could use @ to visit weblinks, so if one can provide them with references, there should be less hallucination. of course i send the link to the object model for mm2020 to grok3.

this time it's almost an one take finish.

i asked it to go thru the script, list the used object models and verify with me all along.

the only modification needed manully is indeed trival -- 1. it used Set doc = Application.ActiveDocument which i need to remove the "application" part. seems winwrap is not exactly visual basic? 2. it didn't include a sub main (by grok3 alone) and i paste into claude 3.5 to ask further help. claude 3.5 worked.
