Control the background colour of the map with a SmartRule

I would like to easily see when a map is filtered in a particular way, by its background colour or some other characteristic that is easy to see everywhere in the map.
This could be done in a few ways:
- Include the fill colours of boundaries in the SmartRule effects
- Include the map background fill colour in the SmartRule effects
- Extend tagging and filtering to background objects so that background objects can be filtered in and out
I think this is a great idea, but ideally you would also be able to set a particular condition on a specific topic as a trigger, which is something I requested a while ago: https://community.mindmanager.com/topic/161-add-a-topic-field-to-smartrules-triggers-and-expand-the-trigger-field-to-include-topic-attributes
If this was combined with the ability to apply a specific map background as an effect, you could then set up a SmartRule so that if the condition on the specific topic was met - for example, a it was a task that became overdue - the whole map would change colour.
