How can I open a previous mind map (not a webbased version) from explorer?

I'm using the Web based version of MindManager. I used to have another, not webbased, version of MindManager. So I have some older files which I want to reuse.
So far I am not able to open those old files.
Any suggestions?

The thread that René linked to was talking about older mmp files which are not compatible with current versions of MindManager.
If your desktop version is fairly recent and saves in .mmap format I suggest having a look at this thread: https://community.mindmanager.com/topic/2197-cant-work-with-local-files
I’ve not used the web version very much but would appear that because it is browser-based it has difficulties opening local files. I don’t know if this would work but another option could be to save the file to a cloud-based server and try opening it from there with the web-based version.
