Project (Parent) label in tag/schedule view

I really like shedule/priority/tag view, but I think it could be largely optimized

(see this post too: Features for schedule view | MindManager User Community Support Forum)

Look at this simple map:

d21fae3016abde985d868ad5773bc315

It's very clear you have 2 projects with relative task

when changing for example to tag view, at beginning you have:

2cae259db24b5f748fc83d11d3508d47

But if you star to assign for example tag (or dates in schedule view), this is the result:

2aba634a825de3694cfd48f95eacaf3b

and if you hide first column:

c5672f6e26de6180e71508fb6523a49c

that is you do not understand anymore the structure of your process.

So, in addition to the feature for post above, I'd like that in those type of view I can choose to view (as label in topic info?) the parent items.

Best of all would be if this secondary view could have rows, so that you can define dynamic swimlanes.

Since what has to be done in the tasks in the different projects, differs most of the time, the best way is to name them different.

As Ary suggests, establishing a naming convention is probably the best way to do this. However, there are two other options:

First, you could simply insert topic numbering. This way each branch and task would be uniquely numbered and you could add a label prefix to the numbering if that makes things easier.

Alternatively, as discussed in the other conversation you started, you could use an inherited topic fill colour which would look like this in map format:

768111ddc934e42efe95a212d5b3d944

- and like this in tag or schedule view:

7910ed21ac7416d31a272b7b86b36896

Thanks for sharing your ideas. This could be a solution sometimes, but often naming task with specific code or number could be very difficult.

I really like an option like this:

c227830c2ef4681cfb8c5776e48c9dd0

That is to view the parent, like tag-view does.
For example when you have a topic (project) with "roll-up task" ON

You can do this using SmartRules to generate a tag to show topic "inheritance", as discussed in your other thread. You can then show these tags in the Kanban view - the only problem being that if you untick Hide Tags on Topics then all tags will appear. The result should look like this (I've left topic numbering on but it isn't required):
