Is there a setting or fix to help with the extreme pen lag when using a Surface Pen running MindManager 22 in Tablet Mode:

Background info

Running Windows 11

Hardware

- Surface Studio Laptop

- Surface Book 2

Note: The inking on my Surface Studio (Windows 10) works great.

Hello Jim,

I too have a Surface Book 2 running Windows 11 and am not experiencing pen input lag.

Can you provide more information on what you are experiencing?

Also, it appears many other Windows 11 users have experienced pen input lag in general and Microsoft suggested installing all Windows 11 updates. Have you done that?

Thanks,

-Marian

Thanks for your reply, Marian.

After my post above I opened support ticket #3272243 and just sent the information below to Javian.

Here's a video

MindManager Version 22.0.273 (64 bit)

Window 11 Pro

Version 21H2

OS build 22000.434

I just checked for updates. I'm all up to date.

I'm not experiencing pen lag on any other programs/apps.

Thanks,

Thanks for the video. Can you check if this setting is enabled in Windows 11 and if so, try disabling it and then restart MindManager?

Hi, Marian.

Your colleague, Javian, in MindManager Tech Support asked me for some configuration information and confirmed that I should completely uninstall MindManager as per the detailed instructions in this kb article.

Success!

The pen is working as it should now.

Thank you too for your prompt reply and suggestions.

Great support.
