How to increase distance in dropdown list

In a map I have a list as a subtoppic of another item but need to increase the vertical distance btw each subtopic to make more distance between topics linked as relationships
But how ??
Right-click on the parent topic and choose "Format Topic...". In the "Subtopics Layout" tab, increase the distance between siblings. This will create room to manipulate relationships.
