Editing attached pdf files

Hello,

I have attached pdf files to my mind map in MindManager 2020. When I open these from inside the map in A Foxit PDF, I cannot save any changes. It says that file might be read-only, but I have checked the properties and it isn't. I've checked the MindManer help guide, and it should work this way.

Does anybody know how to solve this? Could it be that the local folder is somehow protected and if so, how can I change this?

Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is the exact same issue, but I have found that if you edit an attachment, changes do not show up until the parent map is saved again.

Attachments are exported to the Temp folder in your user area to edit them, then read back again from there. You could only confirm whether extracted attachment file is really read-only in that folder and while is open for editing. I don't think they are automatically deleted from there, so you could try opening that copy directly with Foxit PDF to see if it has an issue with the file in that location.
