Can I move the subtopic branches to change their interval?

Just as the following picture, I can change the interval between the maintopic branches by moving the the white or black spot, but I can't move the subtopic branches. Meanwhile, there isn't any spot in the subtopic branches.
I wonder whether it is a bug or my problem. I would appreciate it if you can tell me how to move the subtopic branches.
Only the spacing between main topics can be adjusted in this way. The spacing between subtopics can only be adjusted globally for the whole branch by selecting the parent topic, clicking on Topic Shape and then Format Topic. In the resulting dialogue box select Subtopics Layout and under Spacing adjust either Distance from parent and/or Distance between siblings.
