Map Index: adjusting the font size in the map index for better readability

Is there an option existing to adjust the font size in the map index.
I have a big screen and the fonts are getting kind of very small - almost hard to read.
If i could resize the size of all text in the map index gradually i could adjust it perfectly to various screens/monitors i am using over time.

As a workaround, if you are using Windows you could apply scaling to that display in the control panel. You can still zoom the map to any level, while the fixed text around it can be made bigger.
