MindManager crashes when moving an object / a branch

Our company recently updated to Version 21.1.231. I'm using a Windows 7 Notebook (64 bit). Unfortunately MM crashes as soon as I try to move any object in a map (e.g. a Kanban card or a branch). The mind manager software simply closes down, the window is gone. The problem is reproducable, happens every time, with every mape type. Worked fine before the update, however.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Hello Thomas,
This issue is due to MindManager 21 running on Windows 7, which is not a support operating system. Please ask your IT department to update your computer to Windows 10.

thank you, upgrading to Windows 10 solved the problem. However, the question remains why the upgrade to MM 21 could be run on a Windows 7 device?
