Pasting an Image Separate Subtopic vs Inside Topic (Option)

MindManager Options suggestion:

I would love to see the option for the default behaviour of pasting an image as:
- directly inside the topic (new behaviour)

- as a separate subtopic (ie pre v25 default behaviour)

I like this idea

During Zoom calls I do a lot of quick screenshots using SnagIt and I appreciated the quickness of simply pasting the image as a separate subtopic!

Now, it's a 4 Step Process....paste image → select image → move image to subtopic → sigh

Not really, as it is the quick SnagIt → Paste inside a map as I watch a training/zoom/webinar.

Snagit is a capture tool I use with keyboard shortcuts.

It is the quickness that is now gone in v25 as I have to (a) insert the new subtopic, (b) paste the image, and perhaps later (c) move the image.

What steps did you take before MM 25?

I use Snagit, too. I always insert a new branch and then paste the image from the clipboard.

So, pre-MM25 I would just "insert" it into/onto a topic and MM would just simply automatically create a new subtopic!
Now its a multi-step process as the new default "insert" is to place it inside the selected topic.

For the DEV team, such "rethinks" of default behaviour really should be tested, and even having the option to have the Option to check a box as to what the default behaviour should be.
