How do I turn off Mind Manager update notice

Hi, in the options pages the 'notify me when upgrades are available' is disabled, but I am still getting notification messages and frustratingly, they appear over my desktop even if Mind Manager is not even being used. How do I disable this? Thanks.

Hello Barry,


These messages are separate from Check for Update notifications. To disable them, go to File>Options>General and deselect 'Show Promotional Content'.

Mine is slightly different, I've got a 'show recommendations', I'll untick it and see how I go.

I just noticed you are using MindManager 2020 and that is the correct setting in that version. In MindManager 21, we changed the text.
