colour for tag groups

A very helpful way to visualize in a map is by using colors in a map and special in the tags.
When I transform a Excel Sheet with hundreds of lines it's not possible to colour a tag group with one click...... should i click to hundred of tags ???? Nobody does this, but everyone would use it if its possible.
So please make it possible to define the colour for a whole tag group.
