In the gannt view options I see "Support Funnel Timeline project visualisation" but is greyed. How can I activate it? How is this view? Someone has an image?

Hello Vicenzo

Some of the Gannt options cannot be changed while a chart is in view. To enable this option, close the Gantt view and change the options at Task tab > Advanced Scheduling > Show Gantt Pro > Map options. This option is enabled there.

The funnel timeline is a special way to draw project networks by creating dependencies automatically. In a funnel timeline, the subtopics of a task are its F2S predecessors, and a dependency is automatically created without needing to draw one in the map. In this example, Task 20 and Task 21 are treated as finish-to-start dependencies for Task 10, even though no dependency is drawn in the map.

This makes it easy to create simple project plans. They work better if drawn on the left of the central topic. For each task or deliverable, you ask "what needs to be done to make this task possible?" and create subtopics for preparation. You can then easily read the map from left to right. Most projects have multiple places to start, but only one place to finish.

Note that these maps are not compatible with Task Rollup or with Work Breakdown Structure. Also, only Finish-to-Start dependencies are supported. Funnel Timelines are a graphical alternative for small and simple projects.
