I like this idea
While I support this idea I would like a bit more flexibility. For example, in addition to selecting a whole tag group and giving them the same colour, it would be great to be able to highlight just a selection of topics within the same group and apply the same colour just to the selected tags. This would be a simple way to create sub-groups of tags within a group which share a common characteristic.
