Decision Tree with Parallel Decisions

Hi - I have downloaded the latest version of MindManager and am exploring if I should invest in buying it or not. I am specifically interested in learning more about the Decision Tree options under the Flowchart section.

My big question is, how would you document Parallel Decisions? For example, the tool allows you to document a Decision Point, with possible Outcomes or Paths to follow based on decisions. But, what if the options in One Node are dependent on the Decision made in another Node? I do not want to duplicate that second Node but rather would love to be able to show that Decision on Node 1 AND decision on Node 2, combined, lead to Node 3, with its possible outcomes.

The way it appears that the tool works today, is that that I would have to take a choice on node 1, and then, depending on its outcomes, sequentially take a decision on Node 2.

Is there a way to have two parallel tracks, each with their own decision paths, and then, based on outcomes from one or more decisions, go on to some other decision nodes?

I have attached a diagram of how I envision this should look...but, am unable to create this in the tool - can you show me where I am going off the rails?

If you click on a node and hover over one of the attachment points (the plus signs) you can choose the shape of the next node. Instead of clicking in free space, hover over an existing node and click. It will make a connection without making a new node. This lets you draw multiple inbound connections to the same node.

The decision tree template uses curved lines by default, but right angle lines may be easier where nodes have multiple inputs and outputs. To change the lines to a right angle, click on one of the relationships then go to the Format tab > Line and select Right Angle. With the newly formatted line still selected, click Set Default Style in the Format tab and this will be applied to all relationships in the map.
