Smart Map Parts not appearing
Discussion Open
Smart Map Parts are not appearing in the Map Parts pane. Neither is File Explorer. And yes, both of these are enabled in Options | Add-Ins.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
David
Hi David,
Could provide more details about the issue. Which build do you use - online, offline or admin build? Did you install it via command line? If so, provide please the command line options you are specifying during installation. Which MM language do you use?
Also, attache the screenshots of empty panes please.
Thanks,
Alex

H David,
I have to be honest, I'm not familiar with the term Smart Map Part. I finded in the optionsMap Part is clear but ...
I found it in the options. But I can't think of a function for it. Are you missing that?

File Explorer has been in the Dashboards group of the Advanced ribbon tab for the last couple of versions. As far as I know, it is no longer a Smart Map Part in the library. Which other SMPs are missing from the library?
@René - a Smart Map Part is a Map Part that has a Business Topic menu and can be refreshed like other Business Topics. This is done by associating macros with the map part. It is quite complex to set up and needs support from an Add-In.
