Restrict what users can see upon publication
Answered
Is there a way to publish a version of my mind map where I can restrict and contain what the viewers will be able to see?
I need to be able to publish a very distinct subset of content from my map. (I have tried a filter and save with filter, and that works as far as content goes, albeit a clumsy workaround.)
I need to be able to use cost, and effort, and duration, etc, but I don't want the client to have access to all of my workings. This is currently contained in the task info and I cannot restrict the end user from viewing this.
Hello Wilhelm,
unfortunately not.
You can only insert this information as properties and then hide it. As in the 2nd image.
We have just talked about this in another chat.

Thanks, René.
This is currently one of my primary reasons for still having to use other types of software that will allow me to choose what is available to the intended audience I publish or export to.
For what it's worth, I'd be happy to be part of a conversation about how we can propose this as a new feature / enhancement for future versions. At the moment I'm exporting slides to PDF to achieve a workaround, but it's not the greatest and I'm not getting people as excited about Mind Manager as I am. :\
Thanks, René.
