MM 24 crashes when formatting a topic with "More Colors"

When I try to format a topic with fill color and select the "More Colors" option, MM crashes completely. Just in case this might have been a problem with that particular map, I tried it on a topic in a different map, with the same result. A bug?
Although this is never a welcome answer in these cases, I don't see this myself. This means it could be something specific to your system. The colour picker is a Windows function, not part of the MindManager code. A first step would be to run a repair on the MindManager installation from the Windows control panel.

It looks like the new release (24.1) has resolved this issue. Although my specific scenario is not mentioned in the version history notes, quite a few crash scenarios were. Tech support, incidentally, was no use whatsoever. Their constant refrain was "reinstall Windows," despite the fact that almost troubleshooting step prior to that were provided. (The exceptions being: (1) reinstall MM, which is pretty basic, and (2) try a new clean Windows profile, which was a long shot, I think. Neither helped one bit.) At not point did they address the multiple crash reports I sent them. Thankfully, I did not follow their advice to reinstall Windows. Turns out, it was a bug in MM all along. Could they not have at least told me there was an update coming, that I might want to wait to see whether the update might resolve my issue? Very glad the problem is resolved, very disappointed with support.
