How to align topics in flow chart without automaticaly switching position?
Discussion Open
I have a flow chart with about 30-40 topics, which I want to align in horizontal and vertical order. However, when I align two topics and change another topics position just slightly, it blows up the whole arrangement and nearly every topic is switching its position randomly. Doesn't matter if I use arrow keys, drag and drop or align function, the results are always the same.
I recreated the problem in attached pciture. Hope thats understandable.
How can I align topics and keep their position?

MindManager is preventing collisions between floating topics by repositioning them. This can often result in a leap over a neighbouring topic to free space on the other side, significantly changing the layout. If I am reading the example correctly, centre-aligning two topics that are at the same vertical height on the page is guaranteed to trigger an anti-collision response. To keep them in the right order, make sure there is vertical space between every topic. You can also right-click on a topic and edit the format to reduce margins, to make them as compact as possible.
The "Layout Tools" App will help in this particular case: you can set vertical or horizontal space between topics, which will ensure that they can fit together in lines when aligned.
