Old MindJet Maps app on Android - still available?

For some reason, I can't find the option to reply to a post where user krsto.e reports that the old "MindJet Maps" app on Android is actually still functional.

I'd love to be able to use that, and have used it in the past.

The more recent MindJet Go app can't open local files, I take it - that's correct, right? Using cloud storage is not a practical option for me; my data is on a private NAS.

So if that old app is actually still ok to use on Android 14, where can I find it?
Google Play lists it, but says that it's not compatible with my smartphone, and so it refuses to install it.

No the old app is not available anymore. There were far too little users to justify the investment

There is ofcourse the free Mindmanager Go-app that has read-only functionality and that includes the SNAP app that makes OneNote or Evernote obsolete for MindManager users.

And you can use the web-browser version that is part of your professional subscription.

I'm using MM2018, with a single user license. Will that allow me to use MM Web? And if so, how? I did a quick search, haven't yet found out how I can access it.

Sorry Werner, If you have a perpetual license for vs 2018, you ofcourse can keep using it.

MM vs 2018 is not supported anymore. We are on vs 2024 and there a re many goodies since vs 2018.

If the investment for the Porfessional subscription is too steep, you could subscribe to the Essentials version. That is MM web.

You best go to your local reseller, since he knows best how to help you. And also about local pricing.

hi,

1. seems the forum will lock up old posts, so old post wont be pushed up.

2. yeah i could still found the link leading to the app in google play.

3. i am on android 14, it's samsung OneUI 6.1, the app is running well. i dont have problem installing it. if somehow you cant directly install from the play store, sideload it -- download the .apk somehow and install thru package installer. but this is considered a foul act e.g. alike jail break

4. for text and many things this apk (indeep by thinkingspace that bought up by mindjet) works alongside my mm2020. but when it involve photos, it could broke. and as a mobile version, some metadata are missing.

A. if have time, i'll make a blank mmap from the apk and the desktop program, unzip them and see how difference is the .xml inside.

B. after comparing the blank map, ofcourse will compare after varies actions e.g. after adding text, changed color etc

Found the APK and tried to install it, but it failed because it "isn't compatible with your smartphone".
You might have installed it a while back - or how were you able to work around that issue?
