Reconnect Outlook to existing Contact Mindmap

Hey,

I'm using Mindmanager 18 to manage my contacts which works great so far. I simply drag&drop them from my Outlook adress book to Mindmanager and arrange at will.

So far so good. But what happens if I need to re-install my PC, setting up MS Outlook with a fresh instance? Or what if I change company and want to take my contact mindmap with me (assuming that I am able to export my Outlook contacts before)?

Is there a way to reconnect a mindmap to Outlook without being forced to drag in each in every contact by hand again?

Although MM vs 18 is not supported anymore... We are on vs 24 with a lot of goodies.

Your mindmaps are stored in a place you decided. And the maps are in .mmap format.
So if you re-install mindmanager on another PC the maps are avaialble to you, as long as you have access to the location where you stored them.

If you are using the same Outlook version and the same file/foldder names on your new PC as well, Mindmanager mostly can recognize it and you should be OK.

However take care both are on the same 32- or 64-bit version.
