I have MindManager 24 up and running. It works well.

One shortcut problem: List+S now opens Topic Style instead of Send topics to (e.g., Task).

I like the MindManager Apps in the Advance Section.

Lots to explore in MindManager 24!

There is a page dedicated to the new release on the MindManager website and the release notes are also available, but I think the most useful summary of the new features in version 24 is provided in the MindManager blog: https://blog.mindmanager.com/24-mindmanager-product-release/

The MSI does not recognise if MM23 is installed. I had to remove the older version manually.

No 👍 older MindManager remain on the computer. Otherwise all your personal settings would be uninstalled too.

I recommend FileLinker to backup all your MindManager settings, templates, makros and designs.

FileLinker - Simply work more effectively (filelinkerenterprise.com)

From my point of view, it does not make sense to maintain outdated software on a computer. A good installation routine should perform a full upgrade and keep all relevant user settings.

My first impression was that the program had become terribly slow. That was wrong!

I used my most labor-intensive macro that creates a mind map with 30,000 data. I provided it with a start and end time measurement. On my laptop I put the macro to work with MM23, result 72 minutes of work. Then I installed MM24 there and repeated the previous, result 66 minutes. Of course you can think of all kinds of ifs and buts with such a test. However, the test takes too long to try out all kinds of variations. My conclusion is therefore: my first impression was wrong and said more about my impatience to sink my teeth into the new version than about the actual speed: MM24 is certainly not slower than MM23, rather faster.

And further my congratulations to Nick Duffill of Harport Consulting who saw his apps approach rewarded as a permanent part of MM!
