hi,

i have a paragraph and asked gpt4 to make it into a tree.

FileLinker removed the 1. and 2. from the data!

2db5e92c39146ea49561c06660bbe560

FL version:

29ca4836525fb4abefe30952a433d980

my use method now:

use FL but manually verify that no data missing.

this is still better than drag and drop everything by hand.

thanks

Hi,

the deletion of the bullet points is intended.
It doesn't look very good in the map if there is a bullet point next to every item.
Numbering is much easier to implement in MindManager....but maybe you see it differently.
Is there a special reason for this?

i use LLMs to summarize a large textbook text, and this runs well.

then i use filelinker to paste it into mindmanager, that's what it does.

mainly to remove the # and * markdown syntax, and may be further break down the text into more levels.

in this step i dont expect any info to be lost, and i dont think anyone will do so.

thanks

from the above screenshots, filelinker is not simply removing the 1. 2. 3.,

it's removing the whole sentence.

who expect this?

I have just seen that you are using an older version from May of this year.

It's best to update the version.

Install either FileLinker Free (integration in the context menu) or the AI app.
Important when updating the AI app for MindManager 20-23:
Uninstall the AI app completely and then install it again.

The update function for exe files only works from version MindManager 24.
Then try again. At the same time, we will also test the effect described here.
