hi,

i could reason why there is no linux version of mindmanager

1. mindjet is partner of microsoft, they intentionally want to suppress FOSS community

2. desktop linux user may only make up 1-3% of the market share, and they tend NOT to pay for software...

however, some companies like PDFxchange editor, officially will try to make their software able to run on linux+wine, so they still have paid fees yet the user can CHOOSE.

i have tried running mindmanager 2020 in wine and it cant even install,

saying lacking some MFC library?

may i ask if there is official comment on running MM on x86 linux + wine,

and whether others could help to support to make this happen?

i am so deadly want to have this even a pay fee is reasonable.

thank you.

i wanna point out, running virtualbox/vmware is like running a 2nd PC on your host PC.

wine is more like a thinner layer and runs much faster, if it could run.

thanks

This is not an official comment, just an opinion: because Parallels is also an Alludo product, it seems unlikely that any time would be invested in supporting alternative approaches.
