Files stored in Google Drive disappear

Files stored in Google Drive suddenly disappear and cannot be accessed.
The files are not in Google Drive, nor are they in the recycle bin. They are as if the files had never existed in the first place.
As far as I know, three files have disappeared.
Unfortunaly can't reproduce the error. I have saved in Google Drive and opened from there. It works.
