License required to access historical content?
Discussion Open
I'm working with my IT dept to get a new license. However, it seems odd that I can't use the app to access existing mindmaps unless I upgrade. Surely I should be able to use a prior version of the app to continue to access existing content?
I tried using the Mac 22 (14) and Mac 13 apps downloaded from the product downloads page, and after logging in, I got the same demand for a new license.
If you had / have a subscription this is what I would expect.
If you have a Perpetual license, you should be able to use THAT version of the software on your Mac to open your older/existing mindmaps.

But there is no way to change from one OS to another - so there is no upgrade path if you switch to Mac other than buying from new. There should be a means to access and see historic content whether or not you have a licence - like a viewer if not editor.

If you want to just view your maps...
Download the mindmanager Go app on your mobile device.
If you move your maps to one of the supporter cloud service, you can view them all
