snap not working with text, iOS

When I try to create a snap with text, the keyboard immediately disappears and it won't let me enter any text. Im using iPhone, iOS is updated and the MindManager/Go app is freshly downloaded from the App Store (it is however 2 years old, version 6.0, isn't there a newer version?).

I click on the text-icon (the pen symbol) and the keyboard appears, but within a second the keyboard disappears again and it won't let me enter any kind of text at all. Repeated presses on the pen-icon shows the keyboard for a brief moment and then it disappears again rendering snap unusable for anything other than pictures.

Is there something I need to do or isn't the text feature in snap supposed to be workin?
