Hello Rohini,

The API for MindManager Windows is available here - https://www.mindmanager.com/en/pages/developers/api/22/#Welcome.html

It was last updated for MindManager 22 but still applies to version 23.

hi,

are these all the information one can use to develop macros/add on?

because previously it seems i saw that there are SDKs or whatever, that a developer can sign up to develop MORE for mindmanager?

thanks

Hello krsto,

We do not offer SDK's for MindManager, just the API and Macro editor.

If you are looking for an easier way to develop apps for MindManager, check out App Studio from a MindManager Partner here - https://www.olympic-limited.co.uk/app-studio-for-mindmanager-windows/installing-app-studio/

then,

for the api and the macros, besides that website/link,

any more material could be provided?

that link is simply a website with

1. a manual like material, with very very simple examples

2. index

3. search function

yeah may be that's enough for experienced mindmanager developers.

but that's not enough for naive mindmanager developer who is learning and do it just for fun.

thanks

some sort of course/tutorial/examples would be good.

i googled that previous the olympics company have a course, but after i email them,

they said it is halt and indeed not happened.

however part of the course' s material could be downloaded if you register on their website.

thx

krsto,

I too am wanting to better understand how to make use of the documented MM APIs. I have successfully built an Add-in that makes use of some of the APIs I could "figure out", but the bulk of what I really want to do will require a wider range of the APIs. They exist, so I expect they do work. I just wish they were better documented and/or there were better examples provided. What I would REALLY like to do is get some time with some of the experts (are you listening Marian) who might be able to help me work through a few use cases I have. Then, I would be willing to build out a better set of examples that others could reference.

I think it's true that MindManager isn't really looking to fully SUPPORT these APIs and so they don't encourage their use. But, it would be nice to have better documentation for them. MindManager is a FANTASTIC product and it would be good to allow it to be extended.
