I ask Ghat GPT with your question and get this answer:
"To share your Mindmap with your groupmates, you can follow these steps:
Export the Mindmap: Most Mindmap software allows you to export your Mindmap into various formats such as PDF, image files (JPEG, PNG), or even as a document (Word, PowerPoint).
Choose a Sharing Platform: Decide on a platform where you and your groupmates can access and collaborate on the Mindmap. This could be cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or collaboration platforms like Trello, Microsoft Teams, or Slack.
Upload the Mindmap: Upload the exported Mindmap file to the chosen platform. Ensure that the sharing settings are adjusted so that your groupmates can view or edit the Mindmap, depending on your collaboration needs
Share the Link: Once the Mindmap is uploaded, share the link to the file with your groupmates via email, messaging apps, or through the collaboration platform you've chosen.
Collaborate: Encourage your groupmates to review and provide feedback on the Mindmap. You can also use collaborative features provided by some platforms to make real-time edits together.
By following these steps, you can easily share your Mindmap with your groupmates for collaborative studying."

For MM and your wish to show & discuss, I think its better to use the exxport function as html file.

btw, you shd understand the problem and specifically mention mindmanager to chatgpt.

this is because different MM program have different capabilities.

overall, this shows why some /w AI improved productivity, some dont.

AI is semi-auto now, like a gun, you have to learn how to use a semi-auto gun.

you have to use it correctly to shoot the target.

otherwise is like some monkeys, shooting at the sky for nothing.

i dont see "mindmanager" in your gpt's output so i think you used it wrong.

am i correct?

thanks

Please have you test the export of MM trough html ?

tried before, but hard to share html to others.

"share", i would like others to easily READ, cant modify, and wont blame me on "there is virus in your files".

sharing HTML which can run codes inside, is not a good idea.

correct?

better the share method could have collapse expand feature along........

(yeah i know the html one have)

word may also do so... but overall the export to word doesn't look good, it's still like paragraphs.

thanks

The best and most secure way is to use the Publish function.

You send the link - password protected if you want.

And it is on a secure server.

And it does not run silly code inside.

MS Word is less secure.

And the best part...

If you edit your map just republish and all your friends see the latest version.

In my opinion it cannot get better.

but will the publish function need subscription?

i dont have active license.

btw, ideally, a signed .exe free reader from mindjet will be a good way.

just like PDF, adobe provide signed .exe PDF reader. correct?

thanks

No subscription needed for your friends.

gd, thx.

but personally i still prefer adobe's way,

that provide a signed .exe just for reading.

previously have mm7.2 reader, somehow seems discontinued.

thanks

hi,

i found that if you simply expand all the topics, may be hide some non-important topics,

then export as an image and share to them is already good.

when they open they simply could pan across like a map.

would be benefited if i knew earlier.

Well done.

It seems that in many or most of your questions or ideas Mindmanager offers a simpler solution.
So I suggest you search for those in future, instead of thinking of macro's / chatgpt stuff etc.

This will save us a lot of time.
