i know it's hard to re-write for linux,

but some programs do intentionally support linux+wine/crossover.

If you use Parallels on your Mac, MindManager for Windows will run.

Opinions differ on how much better Parallels is vs wine/crossover.

It seems that wine/crossover is only better, for gaming.

not same technology.


parallels seems is some sort of VM, alike vbox, VMware.


linux + wine is partial, so the performance drop is only partial too.


i think developers usually would like more device to run their programs,

unless they are big enough that they got the monopoly benefit, some sort of.
