Can task's duration by default be in hour not workday? thx

i only use for personal work,
but i wish to use hour and not workday for some reason.
it's workday now by default.

If you assign a Resource to the task, the Effort will be calculated in hours, or minutes if it is not a round number.
As Jörg says, un-checking the checkbox that links Duration and Effort will allow you to put any number or unit in the Effort field. It will just be a number, unrelated to the Duration and Resources for the task.
