Hello my file after save it i cant open again, is it possible to recover it?

I try to use my file but for some rason, my mac try open with Merlin Project manager apparently the extension culd be affect

Can you help me to recover it?

Just some minutes before to open it I save as in other localtion, I would like to know the defaul path location to be saved just after before to install Mindmaanger on a mac for first time, one posibility is to found the original file using the time machine backup process.
