In Gantt Pro options, you can select to show custom text. Other than =r what else can be used?

Hello Doug

This is the complete list of placeholders that can be used in the bar text (next to the task bar) or popup. Not all of them apply in both views (task and resource) or in both bar text and mouseover text.

"=r" Task resources
"=l" Dynamic loads: shows resource name in Tasks view but not in Resources view
"=L" Static loads: shows resource name and loads in both views
"=w" Total effort (work): shows total effort in both views
"=f" Dynamic effort: shows resource names and efforts in Tasks view but not in Resources view
"=F" Static efforts: shows resource name and efforts in both views
"=p" Task progress
"=s" Task start date
"=e" Task end date
"=d" Task duration
"=c" Task cost
"=n" Task notes, not displayed in bar text
"=/" Newline, converted to space in bar text

I did not see them in the main product documentation, but this question has been answered a few times.

Hi Nick (and everyone),

I know I'm a bear with very little brain, but is there a simple explanation somewhere about how you use these things?

Thanks

Alex
