every tab in MindManager is a single file.

Nick D. created the Workbook add-In. This will creates a double sided map. Maybe this will help you.

Hello Will

There are several ways to connect two maps together.

  • You can make topic-to-topic links between them, so that clicking the link on a topic in one map takes you straight to the other. In MindManager for Windows, right-click on the destination topic and click "Copy as link". In the other map, right-click on a topic and click Paste > Paste Link. This creates a clickable link from one map to the other.
  • If you want maps more closely connected, you can create attachments in topics which themselves are MindManager maps. Then everything stays together in one parent map, but you can open closely related maps by clicking on the attachment in a topic. To create an attachment, right-click on a topic and click "Attach Files" then create a new MindManager map as the attachment.
  • The "Workbooks" App mentioned by Andreas automates the above method, and adds a button in the ribbon that quickly switches between maps. It uses the idea of MindManager maps having a front and a back, with your work on the front, and your thinking process on the back. If you are using MindManager for Windows and are already fairly familiar with MindManager, this App can be installed from:
