How to add a "property" to a topic ?
Discussion Open
Hello,
I'm using Mindmanager 2022 and I try to do something but I can't.
I would like to add a "property" to a topic.
For example "tCO2eq" to tell how much tCO2eq the task which is associated to the item produce. Its a bit like the Progression icon but with a more precise value to specify.
How can I do it ?
Thank you for your help.
Hello Pascal
In MindManager for Windows (English version), this is done in the Advanced tab. Click the drop-down arrow on the "Properties" button and click "Define Properties". This dialogue lets you add properties to a topic and choose their data type from a wide selection.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re trying to do. You can add a numeric topic property and make it as precise as you like (see Nick’s instructions on how to create topic properties).
If however you want to add something like the progress icon to represent numbers or percentages visually then I think you’re out of luck. I’m not in front of my computer at the moment but I think the progress icon is the only symbol which shows a percentage, and as you note it has a limited range.
