if its necessary for you to have some folders from your outlook in your map and then to open this folder in outlook ?

No, I need to create a map from my INBOX folder structure.

Whith Outlook queries you can act on emails, but I really need only to have folder.

Something like File Explorer:

But for Outlook folder ...

you get the folder from outlook by this

and in the map you see the link to the folder, that you can do for every folder you need

It's not possible to import only the folder structure. The Outlook query also includes the emails also

Could it be that you've overlooked the first option (missing an icon):
It allows you to choose a specific folder in Outlook.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks, but it doesn't help.

The point is that MindManager scans always for emails. If you try to scan your mailbox from root with "include subfolder" this became unuseful (probably scanning crashes...) because MM grab trough thousands of emails.

I only need to scan mailbox structure by folder.

The same things that MM does with Folders on file system, but that it's not implemented for Outlook mailbox

I see; the problem, as I see it is that your folder structure only can be accessed via the Outlook PST file which MindManager cant query nor import.

That said, you COULD export the folder structure to a CSV file, which you can import to MindManager using Excel Data Mapper.

Here are the steps to export your Outlook folder structure:

  1. Open Outlook and go to the File tab.
  2. Click on "Options" and then select "Advanced."
  3. Under "Export," click on "Export."
  4. Select "Export to a file" and then click "Next."
  5. Select "Comma Separated Values" and then click "Next."
  6. Select the folder that you want to export the folder structure for, and then click "Next."
  7. Choose a location to save the CSV file and give it a name.
  8. Click on "Finish."

Once the export is complete, open MindManager, and select your preferred import topic. Under the menu,> advanced you will find the excel data mapper.
