It depends on several aspects/

Normally a project has a beginning and an end. You seem to have iterations in your project so the project will never end. That should not be a problem in MM.

Do you want to keep record of the tasks done in this month yes/no?

Is the repetitive task exactly the same as last time?

etc.

In MM Windows21 you could use the status icon. If you click on it and it shows Done, then you can click again and it is compeltely undone, so ready for the next month.

You can support that by using Smartrules to move the task to the Not done column in eg a kanban view.

There are more complicated manners to achieve what you want, but I assume you want the tool to work for you and not have you work in the tool.

Etc Etc.

As Ary suggests, it depends on a lot of factors and without further information its difficult to know what exactly you are trying to do.

As far as I know there is no facility to automatically add a fresh topic to a map based on date, though it might be possible to achieve this with a macro.

There are a couple of other options. First, you could attach a recurring Topic Alert to the topic(s) you want to repeat, with the alert set to repeat every month.

Second, you could use a SmartRule. Create an Update tag in the General tag group (or a custom one if you wish), or nominate an icon to act as a reminder. Under Task Info add a Due Date property to the topic and then write a SmartRule that will attach the tag or icon to the topic with the trigger that the Task Due Date is on Today.

Set the due date for a month's time. When the due date is reached the Update tag or icon will show. Complete whatever you have to do related to the topic and then reset the Task Due date to the next month, at which point the Update tag or icon should disappear.
