You have MM for Mac vs 11 and the current release is MM for MAC vs 22.

You may download a free trial version 22 and check if the import works to your satisfaction.

Normally there is no need to remove the older version first, so just try it.

If that is the solution than you could consider to move to the latest version.

Another solution is to use Parallels on your Mac and install MindManager for Windows vs 22.

In that version there is a special Excel Data Mapper that does it all.

Hello,

MindManager Mac does not contain a CSV or Excel Import.

@Marco,

As Ary suggested, please consider using MindManager Windows on your Mac via Parallels.

In MindManager Mac 22, we support importing Microsoft Word, XMind and FreeMind files.

Perfect!

How must Word be organized to support branching?

A word document with headings does the trick.

In fact...If you can generate a document-index in Word, the import in mindmanager will have the same structure

Ary is correct. You should create headings using Word heading styles which will create the map hierarchy. Anything formatted with the normal style and in fact pretty much anything that isn’t a heading will be imported as topic notes - at least that’s what happens in the Windows version.
