Highlight folders in a file-folder structure

Greetings!

I design a file a file-folder structure and want all folder topics to have a specific fill color.

I tried to use topic tags (for example, File and Folder), but found this a bit clunky since tags occupy too much space.

What is the proper way of implementing such markup in MM?

Thank you.

Configure a folder topic with the correct fill colour, then save it as a Topic Style. You can then apply this style to other folder topics. The same can be done with a File topic style.

Thank you for the nice suggestion!

I have an additional idea: start folder topic with backslash ("\") character, for example "\Data".

Then use Smart Rules to set fill color.

Alternatively, just create a topic with the appropriate colour and default name (or if you wish just a backslash) and save this as a Map Part. Then all you need to do is click on this topic in the Map Parts pane to insert it in the map.
