Creating a Template
Discussion Open
Hi,
Is there a way that I can create a template that I can always use, if I copy it. Essentially I want to create a frame with our logo and editable fields to add clients names... then have it printed out in a A3 paper with the correct dimensions, I have attached an example.

You can create your own templates.
Just save as a template file (look for the options via the little triangle called twistie)
Select the XMMAT format
REMEMBER the place where you stored it
And next you can add it in your template library Just go to FILE => NEW and when you see the template library you see the option to add your own template.
It will appear in MY Templates section. Scroll down for it.

Hi Gerhard,
MM doesn't work with fixed paper sized. That's great, because you can add as much as you want and there are no border limits.
But you will struggle a bit if you want to have a fixed printing template.
First: footer and header allows only text, no images are supported
Clientname can be typed in the header - see print preview - or you can add it as a textfield - Ribbon [Insert] or [Einfügen]. This workaround will also work for you company logo 😉
Individual Template
If you have added you own template in the backstage section [New], with right click can you make it to the standard template.
Best,
Andreas
