Image Quality in MM Mac Version 24
Discussion Open
I have an issue I've been experiencing with the Mac version of MindManager, specifically since version 23 and still in 24. I've noticed that images pasted or imported into the maps appear to be of low quality, making them difficult to read and interact with effectively. Why isn't there an option available to ensure that images are displayed at a higher quality with the map?
Hi Greg,
What type of images (file extension) are you pasting/importing?
Thanks,
-Marian

FYI - I received the following answer from MM support:
Currently, the software does not include specific settings to adjust the display quality of imported images. To optimize performance, MindManager may compress images, which can sometimes result in reduced clarity. Additionally, please note that maps exceeding 100 MB (250 MB in MindManager 24) may experience slow performance, lagging, or even errors related to publishing or memory.
While there isn't a direct option to enhance image quality within the software, you might consider the following workaround:
- **Resize Images Before Importing:** Using an external image editor to adjust your images to the desired dimensions and resolution before importing them into MindManager may help maintain clarity, as resizing within the application can lead to quality loss.
