Files are Missing

Hi there! I just upgraded to a new computer and re-downloaded the MindManager app onto the laptop. When I logged in however, I found that the files I had created previously are no longer there. Any thoughts on how I can retrieve these?
Normally, maps created with MindManager are always available. They are not overwritten by a new version.

Have you searched for the files via File Explorer (assuming you are using the Windows version) as well as trying to find them with MindManager? It may just be that the directory for saving files that the redownloaded version has defaulted to does not match the actual location of your previous files. As René has noted, upgrading or re-installing the program should not affect existing files in any way.

Mindmanager uses a tsunami of directories, partially dependant on your Options setting. You can use the attached macro to get an overview. Run it once from MM23 and once from MM24 to see the differences and find your files.
