Macro to generate a tree view of my windows folders

Once you get used to looking at trees, you find that it becomes addictive to show everything in a tree view, windows folders are not the exception.

Is there a macro out there somewhere that is capable of reading the nested folder structure of a windows subdirectory on my PC and show it in a tree view on MM? That would be awesome.

Hello Fnorrmann,

Have you tried to use the File Explorer feature under the Advanced tab? After selecting the Folders and/or Files, you can change the layout to Tree Map in the Design tab.

I'm not sure if the Macro Editor supports this but other MM Experts may chime in.

Wonderful! The only limitation I see is that it only builds up to two levels in the hierarchy, so it still does not really solve my situation, what I would really like is a way to have the tool build a complete folder structure (with all nested subfolders) automatically
