You can edit the central topic layout in the default template.

Assuming that you have "Radial Map" as the current default template:

  1. Go to Design Tab > Theme Organizer > Map Templates
  2. Select MindManager > Blank Templates > Radial Map in the tree on the left, and click the "Modify" button
  3. Edit the template using the ribbon, context menu commands or the Theme editor
  4. Save it

Now when you start a new default map you should see your new layout.

We create whole sets of customized templates for our clients 😀

Please note, that a template (.mmat) stores the Map-Design, the Map-Index, header/fooder for printing and even topics.
