Import from .XLSM

I see that the import from excel function only allows .csv or .XLSX filetypes. What are the chances of .XLSM being added to that list? I have no need to interact with VBA or any of the macro content but having an import option for some of the static content would be really useful to us. I know I can save my workbook as .xlsx and then import..... but it's just a step I'd like to avoid if possible.
