Call up alternative file manager instead of the Windows file manager

I am not the only one in my company who uses the alternative file manager
TotalCommander to navigate through the file structures. At the same time
I use the Mindmanager to better display the file structures, with direct links to the file folders or files.
This is particularly helpful for structured familiarization with new topics or new employees.
In my opinion, it would be very valuable if alternative programs such as
TotalCommander could be called up instead of the Windows file manager if a link to a file directory is stored in a map.

I know this functionality, for example, from the tool "locate32", a file indexing program, which I also use. There is a special setting for this, see attachment.
