How to search for numbers?

I have numbers in my topics that I want to remove. I want to search for # (any number) and replace it with nil.
NB: I'm not searching for the outline numbers; just numbers within a topic.
This is like searching for wildcards in Word. i.e., I want to search for [0-9].
