Centred stretch/fit option for background images

The "Stretch/fit" option for background images fits the image to the envelope of topics in the map. This means that the centre of the image rarely aligns with the central topic.
A better way would be to centre the image and symmetrically stretch it to fit the topic furthest from the central topic. This would enable the canvas to be consistently divided up using a small background image.
