Install source for MAC version should not matter

Today, I installed MindManager from the Apple Store. Upon startup, the app tried to force purchasing a subscription. I already have an active subscription. I had to uninstall MindManager from my Mac and reinstall it by downloading it from your website.

It is rediculous to try to force your existing customer who used the app store version to purchase MindManager again. Why would you do this? Why not allow the user to purchase if they want or log into an existing account?

My MindManager account uses the same email as my Apple account so there could have been a link made there.
